Mark E. Arena, D.D.S.
General Dentist – Rocklin Office
Dr. Mark Arena has lived in California his whole life. He grew up in Stockton, graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1974. His passion for sports, including football, basketball, and baseball, carried him through most of his youth, and he achieved the title of All-Conference as a football player at St. Mary’s. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from UC Davis in 1978, then he tried out Southern California for a while, where he graduated in the clinical top ten percent of his class at the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Arena always loved the foothill side of the Sacramento Valley, and set up a private practice in Roseville, CA. After seven years of solo practice, he joined his friends to form the Blue Oak Dental Group. He currently works fulltime in the Blue Oak Rocklin office.
Dr. Arena has many diverse interests, but athletics, health, and exercise have always been major players in his life. He has competed in national West Coast Swing competitions, received his private pilot’s license, and coached Rocklin Junior Thunder football. He also has five children and has always been closely involved in their activities. Now he enjoys the energy and the wonder of his two beautiful granddaughters.
Over the past 30 years, Dr. Arena’s passion for dentistry and contribution to his community has been undeniable. He is known for his friendly nature, positive attitude, and contagious sense of humor. He approaches every day with vigor, energy, and an appreciation for life. He wants to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone he meets – simply put, he cares about people.
